[Somewhere around Christmas, Kirigiri can expect a messenger bird, carrying an anonymous package. Though exactly how anonymous it might be is up for debate, given the possibly familiar wrapping. But it's okay. This package is a lot smaller and a lot lighter than that one.
The fact that it's something from here pretty much guarantees that it's some sort of trap. And if she chooses to open it, it'll make the trap a bit clearer. All that's inside is a memory petal from the tree. But even without it playing (since whoever the owner is isn't around), it should be pretty clear who's behind this strange present, right?
The only real mystery is what could be on the petal, but for that, well, whoever wants to investigate this mystery would have to get in touch with the sender.]
[She could just mentally respond, of course. But instead she'll let Kirigiri wait a while since she's going to respond with another bird and a note to be extra annoying.]
Wow, you guessed? You really are the Ultimate Detective!
But you're so hard to shop for that I decided to go with something more personal. And what could be more personal than a memory? Unless you would've preferred cash instead?
What do you mean by that? Do you think I get something out of this? It's your present, you're the one who's getting something out of it, aren't you?
But if you really think I have some sort of ulterior motive here, that's the sort of thing that's better discussed in person, don't you think? So we'll have to talk about it face to face instead of sending letters back and forth like this.
And I know you probably don't want to, but you sort of have to if you want to find out what's on your gift. Unless you want it to remain a mystery that is!
[...for a second, she thought about adding a smiley face on the end of her note, but that really would've been too much.]
[It's like a faint brush of wind but the reality is Nagito is attempting to reach her. After Hinata's arrival and his own chats with his friends. It's high time he told a little more about himself to Kirigiri.]
I hope I'm not interrupting anything. But, if I'm not I'd like to talk to you a bit.

Re: Telepathic message | During the Night of Selenium (aka the lantern part)
That would be ideal. I'll finish up here and come in.
[True to his word, when he's finished with the lanterns and the following events. He steps into the office and tugs his green scarf from his mouth.] Sorry it took so long. I had to do a bit more writing than I'd planned for.
Things I should have said from the start. To be honest, I didn't because I haven't been sure how to handle it since I found out here. [He strides over to a chair and sinks down into it with a heavy sigh.]
As I told you before my memories of my time at Hope's Peak are missing. [Whether he realizes he's doing it or not as he smiles, he wraps his arms about himself.]
There's more of a reason behind that than I originally thought.
Probably, but just in case she doesn't, here's a reminder. Another familiar box being delivered, this one way closer to the size and weight of the other one back home, not the small giftbox from before. There's no way, it could be that, right? Just because it weighs enough, and is the right size? After all, where would she even get that?
And of course, it's not, she's not even tacky enough to put a prop skeleton or one from somewhere in the box. Instead, if Kirigiri opens the box, there's just a bunch of rocks, wrapped carefully to keep Junko's favorite detective from trying to guess the surprise by shaking the box around. Oh, and a note that reads: “Were you expecting something else? Happy Father's Day!”
It's sort of predictable, she knows that, but who is she to deny such a hopeless inevitability? Kirigiri can despair over it happening (probably not) and Junko can despair over being so easy to guess. Everybody wins! Well, except the person who should be in the box, but it's a little late for that guy to win at anything.]
[ even if this kind of prank was in bad taste, predictable and also in bad taste BECAUSE it was predictable, her anger spikes at the thought of the foolish man who thought he could improve the world through Hope's Peak. That fool.
Unlike last year, Kirigiri decides to send a gift of her own: Junko will find a large bouquet of forsythia branches, a symbol of Hope in flower language, that are also infused with the emotion.
"Thank you for thinking of me, Enoshima-san."
To anyone else, it seems like a lovely gift between friends, but maybe Enoshima will despair over Kirigiri's retaliation. ]
[Yeah, Kirigiri, your dad was a real piece of work. Of course, thanks to Junko, he's now several pieces of work, but moving on.
She's actually surprised when she gets it. Sure, she knows she had to have gotten under Kirigiri's skin (there's probably another skeleton joke in here somewhere), but for her to respond, that's something new. And to respond in such a fashion, because the second Junko touches those flowers (yes, she got the symbolism and did it anyway), she probably recoiled from how gross they felt. And then despaired over it, because that's what she does.
Later on, the mail system will get even more of a workout because Kirigiri can expect another box with another note. This one's shaped different and a lot lighter. About the size of a box someone would put a bunch of roses in.
“Aw. Flowers for me? That's sweet. And here I thought you had a bone to pick with me!"
If she were the hoping type, she'd hope Kirigiri could hear Monokuma's laughter at the end of that statement.
"But you might want to see about getting your money back. These ones look like they've seen better days.”
Inside would be most of what Kirigiri sent, but now rotted and dried out. ..Junko might've kept one. What? It's what she does.]
[And a return letter. Those poor poor messenger birds.]
“That's fine, I'll happily accept any gifts from you guys. But hey, be careful with that. After all if Makoto ever shows up here, you'll totally have some explaining to do.”
[Happy birthday Kirigiri! Today there's a lot of flowers being anonymously delivered to her home. Junko's not trying to outdo the Father's Day mystery box, so this is more of a small thing than anything else. Well, not a small thing judging from the amount of flowers, but with spider lilies to represent lost memories, camellias for dying gracefully, basil for hatred, and a host of other things, it's essentially a multilingual attempt at telling someone to drop dead through flowers, while throwing in a host of other distasteful comments.
Plus, with the negativity on the air this month, plus the sender's natural negativity, everything has this withered gnarled look to it. It might've looked nice originally (even with all the backhanded messages), but without some serious emotional work, these things can't even be put in a vase without looking more at home in a haunted or abandoned house.
[ as one familiar with multiple flower languages through detective work, the message is loud, clear and goes promptly in the garbage bin outside. Thanks to that boost of negativity, she's feeling extra vindictive.
In response, junko receives an amulet in a happy shade of pink, the kind from Sharnaath which locals use to store images for one time viewing. On it are a series of selfies Kirigiri and Nanami had taken with Junko, in various poses and with various outfits. ]
Here's a reminder of what delightful company you're capable of being. Assuming you don't move or speak.
[After the last holiday debacle, Junko was definitely expecting something back, but honestly? Even she wasn't sure what to expect from the amulet. But flicking through the pictures, seeing everyone have a good time at her expense, how horrible. Really, she just wants to smash the thing into a million pieces. Isn't it such a great feeling? So while she's in total despair over that, and in despair over getting to see Nanami again because later on in that event was one of the last times Junko actually got to speak with her, she'll draft a quick response.]
Thank you for the pictures! It's always nice to see you guys getting along and having a great time, even if it's at my expense!
[She's not even going to bother signing it, everybody knows who it came from. Plus, given how...old the paper looks, really it looks like it was found in an archaeological dig and then left out in the rain for a few days, it's just got that telltale look of being on the receiving end of Junko's emotions.]
[When Kirigiri opens her door on the day of her birthday, she will find an enormous gift basket. The basket contains different kinds of coffee, dark chocolate and some biscuits. Included is a note from a certain princess's flowing handwriting.]
Kirigiri-san,
On this day of your birthday, I wished to give you something that I knew you would enjoy. I consulted with Naegi-san and he said that you liked coffee. As a fellow coffee connoisseur, I took great pleasure in assembling this for you.
[Naegi lets out a small sigh, running his fingers through his still-wet hair. Kirigiri isn't done with her bath, but she should be soon.
It's... been a good night. Kirigiri enjoyed herself, both from eating the meal and teasing him throughout the entire outing. Even through all of the flustered embarrassment, Naegi was able to enjoy himself also. Being around her and being able to see her smiles... That's all he could ask for.
His heart thumps, traitorously. He shouldn't be so focused on his own joy when the focus should be on Kirigiri this evening, but... Naegi still can't deny how happy he is.]
This is lucky, isn't it...? [Naegi chuckles to himself quietly.] Being able to be here with her... I really am lucky, aren't I?
[Naegi quiets when he thinks he hears the bathroom door open. Kirigiri must be done already. He sinks further back into his chair and waits.]
[ Kirigiri emerges from the bathroom in her usual nightwear (or what she'd usually wear if she didn't crash on her couch nearly every night). She drops a fresh towel on his head with a slight smile on her face. ]
You're going to catch a cold if you don't dry your hair.
[Flustered, Naegi grabs the towel and starts rubbing down his hair. He knows she wears it every night, but seeing Kirigiri in that pretty nightgown doesn't help the heat across his cheekbones at all.]
Um, Kirigiri-san... What exactly did you hear, before?
[Or, how badly did he embarrass himself this time.]
[ a fancy lavender envelope will be delivered to kirigiri's doorstep today! it's sealed with a blue snowflake stamp, and when opened, it will reveal an invite. she can even invite her friends to go with her, if she's coming.
the party will be on march 6 oocly! and the address on the invite is weiss' home. ]
